Wanna have some fun? Stick a GoPro on your car facing off to the sidewalk. Drive through an outdoor mall and watch the jaws drop, people pointing and staring. My favorite is hearing the kids yell, "It's Bumblebeeeee!"

Adding a lopey cam and a good exhaust system triples the attention. Trust me.

To me, its especially awkward when they stare at your car, and you for an extremely long period time.
Coming home from school the other day, a kid was crossing the street and started staring like that. He nudges his friends to look, aannnddd it got even worse. Haha, I'm pretty sure he said something, but i had my music on so couldn't hear him. Afterward, he kept staring even as the light turned green and i drove away. Time just seems to slow down when that happens.

I get tons of thumbs ups and people yelling how awesome it sounds. One guy came up next to me and signaled for me to roll the window down and said "we didn't have to wonder whether it was a V8"

I totally agree that time feels like it's slowing down at those moments.

I love the attention I get, although the car is on a trailer usually, the stares, the passengers taking pics going down the road, the people who ask a couple short questions at stoplights, everyone at the gas station or fast food parking lot loves it when that group of 3 or 4 people talk me into firing it up, and the cammed rumble on open headers rattles windows and sets off car alarms, then when I rev it, everyone jumps, kids faces light up (or cry depending on their noise tolerance) and everyone else gets those half grins even cops usually lol it's a blast.

Young kids wonder when it will transform
Truck owners mouth "WTF"
You receive the coveted wave from a biker
Cell phone videos start recording
Yuppies cleaning the trash from their backseat, bust their head to locate you
Cops shake their heads, grin and wonder if the driver can hold back that tiger
You get to hear a stranger's muscle car story before leaving
Prius,Toyota and Honda owners get a woody and can no longer exit their vehicles - LOL (it's all in good fun)
Mustang owners are glad they are on the other side of the pump and discreetly leave
You never get used to it...
All the above is so true.

I roll with my cutouts open all the freakin time. Will be cammed soon but you wouldnt believe how many people dont realize what a cammed car sounds like. I get asked by every lifted trucker if I have a cam. Then I sadly say no and that it will be the next thing coming.

The LT's must be what makes the sound with cutouts so awesome, especially on crank up, under bridges, between redlights flooring it, driving through my neighborhood and kids yelling NICE CAR!, next to 5.0's at redlights, and all the time.

Stares dont get old unless they last too long or camera phones come out taking pics. Then its awk and I cant pick my nose anymore with the windows down

On our club road trip, the 5 of us got stopped at a light with about 60 kids going to an amusement park. All the heads were turning and one kid even walked into a sign. We ate it up and threw them a few revs.

I roll with my cutouts open all the time as well. My cam also chops like crazy. It's awesome seeing all the heads turn at lights....Or the windows roll up....what's wrong? somebody would rather listen to their music or talk on the phone than listen to my car cammin out??

I've had my car for going on 5 years. This morning, I glanced over while stopped at a light and a guy in a Chevy truck was staring at my car. He noticed me, and gave me a big grin and thumbs up. I gave him a permagrin right back (and a little chirp of the tires when we took off and I left him in the dust).

I LOOOVVVEEEE this car!

I had to detour through a neighborhood one time due to an accident. A young boy on his bicycle at a stop sign smiled and waved at me saying, "I love your car mister". I said "Thanks" and gave him a thumbs up.

So far, the best compliment ever.

Stares and compliments... all the time. Even after 1 year of owning her.
