Ipf ordered more than they needed originally so the next batches will ship much faster. This was also part of the email update I received on Tuesday from them.

It always seems like one part short of shipping lol, I'm hoping they get these kits out the door soon. Any updates?

Hey Guys, my apologies, we should be shipping everyone's kit very soon, there were a couple parts that got stuck in anodizing for a while. Unfortunately we cannot do every thing in house, we sublet some machine work and anodizing. We are also not a silicone hose manufacturer. We reply on several other local vendors to manufacture these kits as well. We have had a few hic-ups with them causing several delays. We have produced a large quantity of all these parts so that this will NOT be an issue moving forward. Thanks again for your patience.

Yea I'm right there with you, I've been waiting since December and I'm sure there are others who've waited longer, I sure hope they ship within the next couple weeks because I'm tired of hearing they will be shipping this week or the next couple or the end of the month and then it comes and no shipment. Although I'm sure it's a quality product and ipf is doing what they can to ensure the kits ship with all the right parts, I'm grinding my teeth down to the gums getting my hopes up over and over, it has literally become a running joke around my shop, "when will Adam get his supercharger???" Lol

So I wonder how easy it would be to install this yourself over a weekend?

I personally haven't tackled the install yet, I intend to when it arrives, from what I understand the kit takes approximately 8-10 hours acoording to the ipf website, several folks on here have installed them on their own over a weekend or even in a days time... Anyone whose done the install willing to chime in? lol

Very easy to install, major parts will be taking the front bumper off, cutting the holes for the intercooler piping and extending the MAF wires. Installing the Supercharger bracket is easy, but take your time torqueing it in a clockwise fashion.

It won't take long to install, but I would take the time and double check the work.

Ok, I'll bite!

Do you just plug in the mail order tune or is there adjustments to be made by a qualified turner shop?

I've heard a couple of different things, but I did hear that in order to have the IPF warranty, the worked has to be done by an ASE certified mechanic. Is this still true?
