Yes, HE should make the choice. But remember he asked US for our opinion in the beginning.

The one who does not have either car or both would not have a biased opinion.

No, he didn't ask for anyone's opinions. People always feel free to give them though.

He asked what the differences were from model year to model year.

The tail light issue is dead, some like them some don't. It's always the people with the older style that have to comment on how much they don't like the newer style. There are many people out there that don't like either! Get over yourselves people. That's what makes the world so cool, it's called diversity.

From one 4th gener to another....my advice is....its always sweeter at the end. I wouldn't have changed a thing if I were to do it differently (with the '02 and with the '14). Go for it.

Here is what he said. He did ask our opinion here. So my statement was for this post.
I am not biased at all because I have both. Both are fine but over all most like the pre 14s tail lights.

Tail lights

Love my tail lights. Not gonna waste my time bashing or crying about the 2013 tail lights though. Recaro seats are nice. Love my car all the way around..

I also replied directly to the question made by the OP...

"To those ZL1 Owners who could do it all over again, which year would you buy?"

I had the choice as both were available. I chose the 13. There is nothing wrong with the 14-15 and the Recaros made it tempting

When I read the thread I didn't read it that way. If the OP was indeed asking for members opinions for cosmetic purposes than I'm sorry for my comments. It just gets old reading the posts about tail lights, it seems as it's some kind of a joke/dig on 14' owners anymore. Childish.

I don't have a Camaro at the moment as I am in the hunt for a ZL1 also. I happen to know the differences in all three years thanks to this great forum. Each year has it's pros and cons imo.
