Here's my neophyte question for the day:

Once the plant starts building a car on the line, how long does it take to put all the parts together so it's ready to ship?

For what I understand it is roughly 1-2 weeks depending on your tpw date.

Viz, ref NKBD11. How often does a car with a TPW not make it that week? In others words, I have TPW 8/3, is there a chance GM won't get to it this week?
