Leasing is such a personal thing. I bought my ZL1 because I live in Michigan and can only drive it for half the year. No sense to lease in my situation.
But I did lease a CTS-V coupe and drove it year round for all 3 years (used snow tires), and that was great. At the end, the paint looked like shit and the rims had wear, the nav system was very outdated, and the new CTS was hitting the showrooms. I loved the V when I had it, but it was time to move on. Now I leased a grand cherokee since we had a baby and that is working out perfect for family duty. I always want something newer and it makes sense for me.
Wife drives a gmc terrain. Bought that since she couldn't care less about her car and would happily drive it until the wheels fall off. It's a good mix having some leased and some purchased cars for me. Everyone is different. Have to do what makes sense for you!

I'm not so sure we will see another ZL1. The high HP models always follow the introduction so it would be after 2016. Current Fed Gov raised CAFE standards begining 2016. The Fed killed the muscle car before and wants us all to drive Volts.

I may want to trade up to a 20 year old wife and a 650 HP 2016 ZL1. Doesn't mean it's realistic.

Glad to see there are so many people that can afford to trade in $55k cars every other year!
