ZL1 Insurance rates

What are you guys paying every 6 months for comprehensive/collision insurance. Was curious as to what I might expect to pay. I, btw , am going on 60 years young with a clean driving record. Currently paying around $430 every 6 mo. on the Camaro which is significantly higher than my 2012 CC Silverado 4X4 6.2L which I pay around $266 every 6 mo. Thanks for any and all input.

Geico. Cheapest rates. I tried shopping around and AA/Statefarm were close but being I've been with Geico so long I get the best rates. Also have defensive driving. A few others wouldn't insure the ZL1 for some reason. Said if was the car and not me.

wasn't intended to be derogatory.
First link shouldn't be a dead end, but a search of the ZL1 subforum for the word "Insurance".

I appreciate the input from all. Sounds like it won't be too much of a price shock if we decide on landing a deal on a ZL1. Still not sure whether I'll end up buying new or lightly used one. Not a lot of used available in my immediate neck of the woods and only one or so new ones will show up from time to time to look at. Still haven't test drove one yet but will when the time comes that I've committed to buying. Damn those things are sexy.

Oh and ,I call it Vera, no hard feelings and sorry if I misconstrued your intent.

28... No US drivers license, $400/month. Only one that would give me a pretty reasonable rate was State Farm. Everyone else would charge me $600 and up to $2000 PER MONTH!

It's hard to be an illegal immigrant lol
