Buying a fleet car

What are your thoughts on buying a enterprise fleet car. I found a 13 convertible that's crystal red with 27,500 miles for 25,000. Car is in great shape but I've never bought a fleet vehicle before. Should I run away or ?

Had good luck with Enterprise cars in the past, toughest part was that their prices are higher sometimes than new.

I found this '14 Blue Ray Convert on their manifest on the East Coast, with 1/2 the miles, twice the factory warranty, and hopefully built with no top issues for a few thousand bucks more.

Maybe a better buy.

Have you ever rented a car before? I've seen how some people treat them, it would be a crap shoot....

Try carguru, it will pull up alot vehicles to choose from. I think you could find a better deal on much lower mileage units.

My car was a rental/fleet car. I bought it in early 2012 for $27,500 and it only had 12k miles on the odometer. I now have over 55k and no serious issues as of yet other than the top being replaced (knock on wood).

mine is a lease car out of Portland, i'm guessing a airport lease. bought it the fall of 012 with 13000 on it. hadno issues and came with a full warranty. the way i look at it i beat the drive off depreciation.

I talked to my employer that's a Chevy dealer and they found me a ashen grey 13 with 27,??? Miles on it after taking my trade I will finance 26,500 plus they give me 3 mo 4k warranty on any damage and lifetime powertrain in addition to full gm warranty. I don't know if it's a rental or not and will get to check it out when it gets in to see if it needs any repairs plus I get paid to work on it.

That's not a bad deal, but the mileage seems kinda high..

i personally wouldnt buy a rental car knowing how some people treat them. however, if the car is checked out, and buyer knows everything about the car, they probably can be a good deal. but, i bet many people abuse these cars in rentals to see how fast they will go or the acceleration. many fleet companies do service the car at least on regular basis, so they do get maintainence.
