If you are talking about the GM performance mufflers, yes they will make the car louder and sound deeper. But they are pretty pricey. You may be able to buy an entire NPP exhaust for almost the same price as the mufflers.

No way will it be that loud. They will give a little louder rumble and a little deeper sound, but it won't get really loud unless you put headers on it.

Yes, i too have npp and its wayyyy to quiete for me. Soon as I get back home (to texas) my headers and x pipe are going on. Hopefully this will give it a more aggressive sound.

I have a 2014SS and went with Borla Attak's... NO drone inside the cabin, Awesome rumble outside. I capped it off with K&N cold air and an Oil Catch Can. Very nice power gains, awesome sound!

A neighbor of mine's kid (30 something... kid is a relative term here, lol) just brought his spiffy new 1LE by the other day to show it off. Not sure if they come with the NPP stock, but his had it. Quad tips out the back. Sounded great. Only a little louder than stock with a nice rumble to it. It's the 1st time I've heard the NPP in person and as far as I'm concerned, they should put it on all their v8's at the factory.

I have the GMPP off road version and its nice and throaty. I didnt buy it, it was a gift from the service department because I had to bring the car back for a repair twice in a week for the same repair. Paired up with a set of headers and it sounds awesome.

Your money would be better spent on something else. For practically the same amount of money you can get a full catback exhaust.

You might also want to look into some long tube headers if you really want your car to sound bad axx. Long tubes give your car that real muscle car sound you just can't get from an axle back or catback exhaust.

In addition, long tube headers will add a noticeable increase in HP.
