Cut Outs on a 2010 V6?

Hey everyone,

i wanna install cut outs on my 2010 v6, but i have lot of questions.
i'm currently looking for electric QTP oval, with 3 position (open, close, middle). My car is presently Stock

i know there have lot of posts and "reviews" on camaro5 but not from real buyers. also i think i have read all the posts and watched all the vidéos in all the internet ^^.

and it's so so, some people say "it's just too bad, i hate it", other people say "it's just too cool, i love it".

some people say "you will loose lot of hp", other say "you will increase your hp"

and it's impossible on youtube to find a good audio quality video or just with the cut outs modification.

i'm looking for people who currently use cut outs on v6 (if possible just cuts) and what do you think about it. if you have some good vidéo or tips.

And if some people have cuts on a v6, close to Montréal or Ottawa, i'm very interested to hear in a real life.

Thanks a lot
Greg

I can't help you minus the bolded part. Neither is true. Our exhaust is not where we gain power.

Personally, I would think it would sound awful, but that's just me.

They're not the greatest sound but not awful either. I have badlands on mine it does help if your boosted. Far as gains on a na car i have seen dyno that show a 5hp increase. also it will not give you a v8 sound.

wow, i wish i will have the same exhaust song like you too.
But i think that "with headers" make a good difference with "no headers"?

hey folks,
i got my cutouts on my 3.6l camaro, and I LIKE IT ^^.

Sound super great at low RPM, little bit strange around 2500/3000 rpm, and super angry after 3000 rpm moahahahaha.

but, it's strange, it seems i loose some power at low RPM when it's open.
is it the same thing for you?

thanks, it's also cool to lose torque with the cuts open = you will make more noise and don't go too fast.

i will send you pictures and video tomorrow

what do you wanna use : switch or remotes?

for the moment i have a switch, my 2 remotes will arrive next week.
