Has anyone here done a Seafoam or other brand treatment on their intakes yet? I just installed a catch can, but I waited WAYYYY to long to do it. After 20K miles and a lot of "spirited driving" without the can, I am sure it needs a very good cleaning. I went through the Forums/DIY's (and pics that scare the crap out of me) and just wanted some friendly/local advice!!

Today must have been the day for catch cans. I've got 24k mi and I finished my installation about 1hr ago.

Sorry, did my catch can right after break-in, but running something like Seafoam or some sort of fuel system cleaner through a few tanks of gas certainly shouldn't hurt.

i used the spray can seafoam on my TA, will probably do on my Camaro before I install my catch can. the fuel additive one might help but the spray can one will do more to clean your intake if there is build up.

I would talk to mike at new era to make sure seafoam is safe to use with a fresh cam.
