Today my dad went out to get some groceries so he could cook for Father's day. Thing is he took my Camaro without asking and without me knowing. His story is he pulled into the parking lot, away from cars, and went in the store. He came out and drove home, and didn't realize until then that this dent (http://i.imgur.com/ZXLHNcv.jpg) was on the passenger's side front fender. I'm 16 and can't pay for it myself, especially since I wasn't driving it. So our insurance recommended a place (I told him we should pick a shop ourselves, but no luck.) and we're going to get it evaluated on Thursday because APPARENTLY the shop only runs on thursday.

My dad thinks we'll be able to do a paintless dent repair but I have my doubts, since it's in the crease of the fender. I just hope we won't need a respray/new fender. So that's why I'm posting here, for your opinions on the damage.

Will my car ever look the same? Will there most likely still be noticeable damage?

there is a possibility it will look alright. if not a new panel would be needed in which case just go to a scrap yard.. the 5th gens are getting to the point that its quite easy to find them being parted out for cheap.

on a side note. try calling your dealer and ask who is the dent guy. odds are they do work out of the home as well for a much cheaper price than at a shop.

thats how i got my air brush guy and dent guy.

airbush guy charges 80 bucks to sand to metal and paint/clear anything i need done on the car (had clear coat peeling on bumper)

dent guy does 20 bucks a dent. worth a shot.. just call dealerships and ask to talk to the folks that do the work and ask if they do side jobs. everyone is trying to make cash on the side

That's sucks man. I have 2 nice dents thanks to assholes!
