LT4 CORVETTE MOTOR
I wonder when it will happen... and would love to see someone swap in the new LT4 into a 5th gen.

For what benefit? The base V6 in the 5th gen makes just about as much hp as the LT4. It wouldn't be worth the effort.
Unless you are talking about the LT1 that the Stingray has... |

LT4 is the new motor in the C7 Z06, tho it was also an engine code back in the 90's.

Doubtful. LT1, sure. LT4, seriously doubt that. 5th gen Camaro didn't even get the old Z06 motor until the C6 was dead.

the 6th gen ZL1 (if there is one) will likely get a detuned version of the LT4.

Compared to the new LT1, I actually like not having direct injection, VVT, cylinder deactivation. LS3 power is adequate, tons of upgrades available, and less stuff to fail. And really the power difference isn't that great.

The actual HP difference isn't great but the tq curve is. This is why the A6 is right on par with the M6 in the Camaro, despite having 26 less HP at the crank and 40 less at the wheels. VVT is the shit, AFM, not so much, lol.
