Lol Chris. Mine is always in my back pocket so it doesn't matter, but I can understand your concern.

HA! had that happen to me once before I moved it's location...

Since I wear "Relax Cut" pants, the key fits perfectly in that little change pocket. One of the reasons I don't want to give it up. In general, I don't give a merry damn about the key, but, this just fits so nicely in that little pocket! Like it was made for it!

Premature key ejection? That's a damn shame.

Never had any issues with the switchblade personally.

while i am not questioning the move to this section.. it probably would have been better to keep this on the front page. (unless it has).

i was told about this from a co-worker who knows i have a camaro and asked if i was aware… i wasn't.

No more folding Key Fob

From Associated Press

General Motors is recalling more cars for problems with ignition switches.

GM is recalling nearly 512,000 Chevrolet Camaro muscle cars from the 2010 to 2014 model years. A driver's knee can bump the key and knock the switch out of the "run" position, causing an engine stall.

That knocks out power steering and brakes and could cause drivers to lose control.

GM says it knows of three crashes and four minor injuries from the problem.

GM says the Camaro switches met its specifications — unlike the switches at the center of a recall of 2.6 million small cars. That problem has caused more than 50 crashes and at least 13 deaths.

The Camaro key is concealed in the Fob like a switchblade. GM will replace it with a straight design.
