Yeah, exactly. Get what you want and then modify it. If you wanted an SS it would have made more sense to get one immediately. Lol.

And besides... that turbo whine...

I'd do the TT if I didn't live in SoCal (dam smog)

The IPF S/C can be removed and reinstalled in the same weekend when I need to smog it.

Just gotta the IPF kit now. lol

I have a V6 well modded and enjoy it, but it will never be an SS!
Most of the time I am very happy, sometimes I still kick myself. If you can, before you spend a lot on mods think seriously about trading up.

Depends, if you're on a budget of sorts like I am they're are a few reasons to keep a V6 over the SS... I'm about to supercharge my V6 and from what I'm told not only is it worth it but its going to put it on par with most V8s, the insurance is cheaper since the LS is classified as a coupe(that matters to some people ) gas consumption is slightly better, and cost of maintenance is a little cheaper. I'd say keep the 6 for awhile and modify it to suit your needs. In the end you can always trade up if you have the means to take care of one.

Well, the IPF S/C is a centrifugal supercharger, so it behaves like a turbo. Low boost (almost negligible) at low rpm, high boost at high rpm. But it really doesn't do much until you're over like 3.5k rpm (IIRC, don't quote me) and we don't have a fuel solution to pulley down yet.

Can't go wrong with turbos.
