push to start
with the whole key recall situation i decided to look for a push to start system. i found this one made by advanced keys http://advancedkeys.com/Prod_AK104B.html
i will probably order this kit next week after i do more research on installation. I am no electronics expert so if i find a shop to do it cheap i might go that route what would be cool is if a bunch of us bought this system and just met up and installed it together. anyways here is a review i saw on youtube. this guy has had his push to start for like 2 years already and hasn't experienced any issues. |

I had a push to start system in my '64 Ford Falcon. That, or I could park it on a hill.

Nice aftermarket system but my car 2010 2LT/RS already has remote start. There has to be a cheaper and easier way to switch the ignition into a keyless one. There just has to be lol

the thing about this system is that it has push to start/keyless entry/ you can still open your trunk/and if you lose your key or it fails you can STILL use your car. This seems to be one of the only systems that will allow me to completely get rid of my OEM key and fob. if anyone has a better/cheaper kit can you please post a link?

i also found this one, but for this one the key needs to be in the ignition so it kinda defeats the purpose
