Wash Your Air Filter
You guys do know the Z/28 air filter is washable?
Procedure: http://www.knfilters.com/cleaning.htm Cleaning kit: http://www.knfilters.com/clningacc.htm I bought an extra filter for a spare and they are ~$110 each, but theoretically no need to replace it.

I have learned K&N offers both washable and non-washable elements. The OE Z/28 is actually a dry, non-washable element. So, don't wash your filter.

Wow. I've been using K&N for 35 years, and never heard of a non-washable element.
What are they using instead of cotton gauze?
