Exactly!!!! But the liquor stores can sell all the cold beer they want. It's easier to discriminate against "those" grocery stores, you know how "they" are!

The 'excuse' was basically, it would be harder to enforce if more beer is sold. Good thing the local government is loaded with common sense here. This is probably why we have more liquor stores than grocery stores..bwahahahahaha

Lets us not forget that they also charge more for the cold beer. If you buy a case of warm beer at the liquor store it is about $2.00 less than the cold beer. So you pay for the "privilege" of them being the only ones allowed to sell it to you cold. That is why I NEVER go to or buy anything from liquor stores. Screw them and the politicians they bought. Put your warm beer in some ice and water and gently swirl/agitate and in 10 minutes you have chilled beer. Then there are the Sunday blue laws if you want to really get ridiculous...

Oh and if any of that B. S. were true they'd only allow liquor stores to sell cigarettes right? Groceries and convenience marts effectively "card" people for those, so why not cold beer? Or are underage people incapable of chilling warm beer? If the groceries and convenience marts can effectively prevent underage people from buying their warm beer, then why would the temperature of the beer suddenly make them incapable of preventing underage sales? I guess they want us to look like idiots to the rest of the country/world.
