Need Opinions! Possible Wheel Purchase

I have thought of having my 5 spoke ZL1 wheels Chromed but I think I'm pretty much decided I want to keep them stock for down the road purposes.
With that said I was looking into getting Chrome wheels and came across the 10 spoke ZL1 wheels in chrome. Thing is there a replica but I have talked extensively with the seller and he says they are exact size and exact offset as stock ZL1 wheels. There even a pound or 2 of the same weight.
Now one thing that bothers me is that they do not have The ZL1 logo on the wheel, but it's not a deal breaker for me. The price is reasonable and I really love Chrome and think these would look sweet.

Now my questions.....
Do you think this makes the car look cheap by putting on replicas?
Do you think I will run into balancing problems? I don't want a shaky wheel!

Drop me some thoughts on these... I always love getting Camaro5 's opinions.

The OEM black 10-spokes do not have a ZL1 logo they say Camaro on them. As for the logo on the black wheels it's hard to see if you are not looking for it as for the 5-spoke wheels since it only says ZL1 on one of the 5-spokes again unless you have painted the ZL1 logo it's hard to see if you are not looking for it. I know I have seen several ZL1 owners running the Factory Reproduction ZL1 wheels on this board.

Before you go to buying the wheels on Ebay see this Link for C5 member discounts on the same wheels direct from the manufacture.

Awesome!! thanks!!

Do you know if stock TPMS can be reused on the new wheels?
Also if there are any issues with balancing with these replicas?

Yes they can and no issues the factory repo's are a great wheel I have not need anyone report any issues with the quality or balancing issues. Doug is a sponsor and member on this site so if you did have any questions or issues he seems always available to assist.

I would be cautious, as replicas will likely be cast and not forged. Many a light weight cast wheel has cracked a hub or spokes under the torque of a V8 and a heavy car.

I've seen these in person and they do look somewhat cheap. If it was me, I'd pick up some aftermarket wheels or go black 10 spoke

There are a few threads on here about these wheels, and a lot of members with them on their cars. I have read nothing but good things about them and I am thinking of ordering a set at this time. Originally wanted chrome but have decided on the silver machine instead. Good luck.

Looks good, did you get the 9" - 10" or 10" - 11" wide setup?

I use a set of the black 10 spoke replicas from FR at the drag strip and have had no issues. They look almost identical to the stock wheels, and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference without close inspection.
