He's an idiot, I live in Seattle, I have 2 small kids and my daily commuter is 11ss vert, yes I drive with top down and 2 child seats in the back.

I do make around 12-13mpg, but guess what?
I'm smiling every time I drive to work, and kids at my son's school are fighting for a chance for open the door

He should also add that driving into mountains for skiing is not very practical with Camaro, no place for ski rack.. and sluggish in snow

Obviously the author doesn't have a lot of practice with a stick shift. One of my first jobs out of high school was driving a manual-transmission, 20 ft stake-bed truck around Seattle for deliveries to commercial builders. Never had a problem starting on a hill.

And obviously by comparison the Camaro is a dream.

If you haven't been to the Puget Sound area, you are missing out on one of the most beautiful regions of the US.

I will be there this weekend. My brother died, and that's where most my family lives.

I was in Portland Oregon for a week last year and the entire time I only saw two Camaros. The only point of this article is that it says it's not a practical daily driving for this in Seattle, which is probably true. What made it worse is that it was a 1LE, give him a 2SS L99 and I think the results would be better. He never said it was a bad car, he called it how it is, stylish, powerful, with poor gas mileage.

Another factor to consider is that people that in coastal states are less likely to buy a vehicle from GM, Chrysler, or Ford, while those in the states in between the reveres is true.

And let's say a RWD car isn't good for Seattle.

Is a Nissan Rogue POS the best ride you would consider?

Even the Buick rated higher as an SUV. I didn't even know Buick made SUV's.

The Nissan Rogue looks a lot like a Pontiac Aztek, but without the advantages. It's an ugly POS without redeeming qualities.

Our cars are like Krytanite to a hipster. Loud, aggressive and not eco-friendly (at least in their opinion). They also don't like having no place to put a bike rack/kyak rack and storage for your man purse...err I mean european handbag.

I have to admit I frequent a local coffee bar that has been overrun by hipsters. Subaru Legacy's, Prius's and the occasional SAAB surround me, which looks very comical. The employees at the shop are actually a tad annoyed with most of them. Yesterday I started my car just as three of them were walking behind me and actually made them jump. lol. Wish I could have recorded the moment on my backup camera.
