Just use a rive nut gun from the aircraft supply much less cost. No need to buy the odd ball bit, just dill a bit smaller and ream to the correct size, we use this set up on aircraft all the time. Even a rivet gun with the bolt will work on some sizes.

It does not come with the car, it is purchased separately if you want one. It is a GM part.

More speed = more downforce = more drag. Claimed "up to" 150 additional lbs downforce with the wicker. My home track has a section with high-speed esses where this will really help plant the car when I need it most. Restriction of top speed due to added drag is not an issue for me on any track I run. I'm perfectly happy maxxed out at 145-150mph at the end of a straight. A WAG is the wicker shaves 5mph off theoretical top speed?

For me drawback exceeds benefit anytime I'm driving on the freeway- it will hurt mpg
Yes, no need on the street.

That plastic is thin, I would drill first with step bit, then use the correct size.

Couple of questions..

is the blade pre-bent?
Would this hold up on a Carbon Fiber Z/28 Spoiler?

Some info I found.

A new accessory for 2014-2015 Camaros is the wicker bill spoiler (part number 23200130), which adds up to 150 lbs. of downforce to the rear of the vehicle at high speeds. The wicker bill spoiler is compatible with the 2014 accessory wing spoiler (RPO SB3). It is not restricted to only Z/28 models.
During installation of the wicker bill spoiler, the template should be lined up on the lower feature line of the Original Equipment (OE) spoiler to ensure a consistent gap at the top of the template to the top of the spoiler.
Seven holes are drilled in the OE spoiler. Use a graduated drill bit due to the irregular hole size required for the M8 riv-nuts. The riv-nuts should easily slide in and out of the drilled holes.
Install the M8 riv-nuts using the M8 riv-nut installation tool. The correct tool must be used to ensure proper installation of the riv-nuts. The riv-nut installation tool (BO-42151-8MM-KIT) can be ordered by calling 1-800 GM TOOLS (1-800-468-6657) or online using the Service Workbench link in GM GlobalConnect.
Rubber grommets are placed over the M8 riv-nuts to prevent water intrusion. In addition, two rubber grommets are added to the decklid stops.
For a copy of the complete installation instructions, refer to the Camaro Accessory Installation Manual available in the Service Information.

It says it is only for the Z28 or spoiler like it. I looked at the ZL1 spoiler and it has a different shape, yes it is pre bent.

I can make a riv nut tool for any one that needs one.

Can you give me the dimensions of the wickerbill? Flat pattern length (cloth tape, or tape measure), height, and thickness?

I want to do some weight calcs.

It weighs about 2 to 3 lbs. it is 1/8 aluminum and is about 4ft x 3 inch
Use a 1/2 bit and ream to the right size if you do not have the odd ball bit, I did and fits very tight.
