This was what the factory did back in the day. My 69 had SS on sides and front and back. Cost of the car new was 2850.00. But I was only making 500.00 per month.

I saw a 1LT a few days ago driving past me that clearly was NOT an SS or RS, but they had a nice little white SS emblem in their grille. Don't know who they're trying to fool. |

I did the same with mine!!! I like it, but I still get into arguments with guys saying it should be "RS/SS" instead of "SS/RS"!!! Well, whatever..... I like mine the way it is!!!

It is definitely a personal choice. But it's not for me. I must say though that when I got my car built at Lingenfelter, that I did let them put the Lingenfelter badge under the Camaro emblem- but it was the same color. I almost didn't want them to put it on, but glad I did.

Haha. I saw this POS along with the matching POS 5thgen at Mid Ohio the other year. Everyone was laughing and taking pictures of it.

To be technically 1969 correct, I guess we should be RS/SS. But, I did the trunk lid also and I was too lazy to remove the SS that was already there
