Choosing a tune

What is the best way to choose a tune? I know some people just choose one company because that's all that's available to them or all they know. I want to gain the most from my vehicle but still keep it feeling and working liek it should. Any suggestions?

i am putting a rotofab on this week and running 93 octane. No supercharger or Turbo yet but I just want to see what others think. Everyone seems to claim they have the best gains from their tune

I wouldn't recommend this until we see some actual results from it

There's really only 3 options for our car, trifecta, ipf and an hp tuners dyno tune. Trifecta has disappeared and their tune was garbage so I wouldn't recommend them. Hp tuners is supposed to be the next best thing but with no results posted as of yet, I'd wait a little or hope your tuner knows what they're doing. Ipf is really the only proven tune at this point if you don't mind a mail order tune.
