Would there be any group interest in doing a Transformers 4 meet this Saturday at one of the area theaters?

I'm too far from you guys but how cool would it be to find a drive in showing it and have a large group of 5th gens roll in?

This Saturday is a Muscle Car Show at Racekrafters in Lancaster. It starts at 10 AM and is free.

That sounds like a very cool idea! I have to agree a drive-in would be a lot of fun but I don't know of any around here.

I don't know what the good theaters are in the region so if anyone has an idea please post it up.

Hmmm, I'm busy this Sat and Sun but a Friday night cruise up to here?????? (or is it opening on Saturday). This would be a blast!

EDIT! its opening this Thursday the 26th!

Here's a drive in that's rather centrally located. It is in Dillsburg, PA right off of highway 15 and they have transformers playing.

Very nice! Maybe we could meet somewhere and make a cruise out of it to Dillsburg. Does Saturday night sound good?

Looks like the ticket booth at Haar's drive-in opens at 8:30 PM and the movie starts at dusk approx 9:10. I would think we should be there before 8:30 as I am sure the line will be long to get in and we want to get good parking, so maybe be there by 8. Get in line early! The tickets are $8 per person.

I am thinking we would ride out East Berlin Road (Rt 234) then take Rt 194 North to Dillsburg. BluePhoenix since you are out that way maybe you can meet us along the way instead of coming into York to start the cruise.

The rest of us closer to York we could meet at Rita's parking lot at 7 PM and leave by 7:15. It should be about a 45 minute drive to Dillsburg.

Anyone interested in going please RSVP here so we know how many to expect for the cruise and if you plan to meet at Rita's or somewhere along the way.

Having been to this drive in before, you want to get there early enough that you wonder "why am I here this early" because it fills up FAST! Last time I went we got there around 7:00-7:30 and brought some snacks to munch on while waiting for the movie to start, (discouraged because of concession stand sales, but we weren't hassled about it). This time allowed us to get prime parking and not become stuck behind a bunch of people who had taller vehicles. It was a lot of fun and definitely "old timey". They play a double feature so two movies for one surprisingly low price.

Unfortunately I will not be able to make it on Saturday, but everybody have fun and I'll see you at Quaker Steak on the 12th!
