Someone can have my RX breather cap. Used once during logging, until I found out it's valved backwards. Practically new...

It lets air in, but not out. Metco's one is setup correctly, but said screw it already since not running insane boost.

The new larger Elite E2 is a nice CC. Caught ~ 1/4 quart over 3k miles on 1st gen Elite on last oil change.

The rims were polished but had been supposedly powder coated which to me actually looked like black paint on them. I removed the black they need some work to bring the shine back (if possible). Other than that they look great. I cant post pictures using my phone for some reason. I will take pictures tomorrow and try to post them.

For sale-strut tower brace

I still have a factory strut tower brace for sale, will only work on newer models with the three hole on each strut tower. Or I believe there is a kit to mount it in earlier models but that would require drilling.

I think it was D1S 4300K. Check the manual. Before you buy one, swap the left and right bulbs. If the failure swaps, it's the bulb. If it doesn't, the ballast went bad. My ballast went bad under a year. Replaced ballast under warranty.

You probably can find the bulbs at local parts store for Sylvania OE or Amazon.

Edit: using my iPhone... Was the post deleted?

Yes I deleted the post. Five-O muscle gave me answers I needed in matter of minutes and one of the members actually gave me stock bulbs that he had replaced in his camaro.

Mahalo to them

Hey, I might end up being stationed in Hawaii in a few months and I'm trying to find out how strict they are on exhaust noise over there. I'm not wanting to go crazy loud, I'm just trying to get an idea of what level is allowed. Thanks for the help.

It all depends on the person doing the annual safety check. There are two things which are dreaded in Hawaii. Safety check and reconstruction.

Safety check is annual and is needed to renew your registration.

You must go to a safety check station and they will go over your car to see if the basics work.

You need reconstruction(recon for short) for modifications done to your car. There is a fee for recon and they will check everything. Some stock cars does not pass recon

Here is where it might get difficult. Exhaust does not need recon but if the the safety check guy says it's too loud they might say you need to go to recon and have them approve or waive the db level.

Recon will check everything on the car not only what is modified.

You might want to wait until you get here and feel things out before modding your exhaust.

yes i was worried about my exhaust at first. Have LT headers, no cats and spintech. Went to recon for my drop and asked them about my exhaust as well as the saftey check place( fast lube Kapolei). They told me they dont do anything about it, only cops would enforce it. Got saftey recently with the exhaust and the guy there actually complemented it to my surprise, All depends where you go i guess. Just dont go to goodyear Ive heard they are very strict, if you dont have cats i heard they dont pass you. I thought you dont need here? anyone know about that?
