Kinda new
Hi all,
I joined a while ago because I was doing some work on my wife's red 2011 base camaro. She loves the car and I needed some guidance on something I was doing - but dont recall what. Anyway - I have always loved her car and I finally decided to sell my Charger and get MY camaro. So I snagged up a 2012 Silver RS last weekend. I love this thing! So on her's - I have painted the rear valence, painted the engine cover, added a rear spoiler, painted the shark fin, removed the bowties in the grille and on the trunk, painted the fog light bezels, tinted the headlights, made some gill stripes, and added a custom nose stripe. (Her birthday is coming up and I am planning on getting her some new rims - shhhhh). On mine - I have painted the rear valence, changed the inside color of the bowties, added gill stripes, and thats about it. I am planning to go with the RS anniversary stripes next month (figure matte black and bright blue). I was looking under the car at the exhaust and I'm thinking about ditching the suitcases at the tailpipes. Wife is afraid to change the exhaust on hers because she thinks it wont sound good. I think theres no way it WON'T sound good  Anyway - just making my intro before I continue exploring the forum. Here's a pic from the day i got mine. CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
