cooled/ventilated seats..

Had cooled/ventilated seats in my Avalanche an LOVED them, found an aftermarket kit and am thinking to add them to the Camaro, black leather seats in a convertible can get HOT and make you sweaty..

#1 Automotive Seat Cooling System and Seat Heating System - Aftermarket

thought I would share and ask if anyone has attempted this..

I'd be interested in this too. Summer in south Texas with black leather is no joke! I'm not so sure of the quality and performance though. It's just fans and one side will blocked by your body, preventing airflow.

that's how the factory ones work.. the fans are blowing the air onto your back and pulling the air from under the seat..

if you don't have perforated leather then they won't work..

If you do decide to get this please do a DIY, I would be interested to see the outcome. Good luck.

Thinking about this. Our Camaro leather is perforated correct? Am I making the right assumption by saying tiny holes= perforated leather?

I would like mine to be ventilated as well. My wife's Acadia has them, she has black leather also, makes a world of difference. Just not sure about their execution with the fans directly in the seat.

Its only $165 for the kit on amazon:

I'm upgrading to oem leather so since I am taking the covers off already I might as well try something different thats possibly functional. Its never cold in california so this would be a must during summer to eliminate swamp ass.
