There are many Cadillac's with well over 100,000 miles without incident. Just because something can go wrong, doesn't mean it will go wrong.

My dealer ordered the replacement supercharger, and a replacement master cylinder reservoir. A Gm rep has to come out to inspect the insert and exhaust, but my dealer manger said they will order that stuff when the rep gets there as its visibly damaged. Also said there is a mylink update that they will do when I bring it back for the other stuff.

Just be glad to get rid of the noise from under hood.

I don't know about that, I was there this morning and haven't heard back from them, so I assume the order went through.

Oh it will.. it will! The ones with over 100,000 miles are probably the same guys that probably never pop the Hood to hear what's actually going on. I'll stick with my opinion, it makes more sense...

Hi all well hell what hope have I got I imported a 2013 zl1 it has wining and crunching diff only when you turn left or right and a noisy rattle in supercharger has done 6540ks not good love the car but not the problems they say no warranty for Australia I'll just have to go to better components made here down under seen as though half the car is made here anyway .Shame as I'm an avid Chev supporter and own several silverado's have had only very minor issues with them cheers Bardo

After 8 hours of fun highway driving this weekend, the SC worsened, the rattling is accompagnied by a squeal. The SC getting replaced today and just on time. This problem may be worse then what GM claims and should probably become a recall instead.

The replacement supercharger is so quiet compared to the original and the performance is so much better. This is how it should have been since day one. I am much happier.

Also still had rubber on the rear fenders and part of the number paint from my last track visit. No questions asked. Didn't intend to just remembered it when I got it back.

Does anyone have any actual data that performance is better with the replacement blower. Track times, dyno numbers, datalog?
