2010 SS Inferno Orange CPO - Good Deal?

Good Morning All,

I have decided to finally come back to the Camaro family after 10 years. I am in the process of looking for an SS. During my search I came across a 2010 SS Inferno Orange (Favorite Color). It has 25,000 miles on it and is CPO'd. The asking price is $24,999. I am thinking about asking to purchase it for 23k. It also has the RS package and black rally stripes.

Thoughts on this deal? I have been reading the forums and everyone's advice would be very helpful.

Thanks!

I've been looking at SS' s in the Mid Atlantic area and I'd say it's a deal as it sits. You can talk price, but I think their selling price is very fair.

Thanks for the response. I agree. Also, they were not willing to budge at all. They said 24,999 was their final price. Now time to do some thinking.

Update: They dropped the sale price of the car to $23,800. It doesn't seem they will haggle anymore but that seems like a great price. I am going to look at it tomorrow.

What does everyone think?

Take it! That's a good deal with that low of miles! It's hard to find a car double that miles for that price! So that's a steal!

Basically at that price there is nothing to haggle on. Any other dealer that had the car in the area would have it posted for $27k-$30k.

Thanks guys! It's been 4 years since I test drove the SS. I can't wait to try it again.

Anything special I should do on the test drive?

If you think it's likely you will buy it, the test drive will only confirm it.

Tell me about it. I am so worried that someone will walk in and purchase it before tomm morning. I was thinking about putting a deposit down! I'm not going to though.

It's a one owner, certified pre owned car. The factory warranty is about to run out. Is there anything I should look for engine related?

Is the extended warranty worth it? Once the CPO expires, I plan on modding so not sure if worth it.

Also, how much does it go for?

Wow, that sounds like a great price. I think if you plan to mod it with more than basic bolt ons, than I wouldn't get the extended warranty. Just my 2 cents.....plus you save some money. Usually they are between $1600-$2200, as far as I've seen. Either way, good luck with your purchase.
