I like it but I can't readily see the difference between it and BRM. My guess would be that it has less shades of purple in it.

Why do they keep doing dark blues? We already have black & from a distance or in low light that is what dark blue looks like. Not a fan. A pretty blue would be nice.

Thanks for posting these !
While I think this will look great on a Camaro....I think a Laguna Blue (or something like it)...would have looked even better.

I think it looks decent but I'm getting tired of all the metallic colors. Also I think they really need a blue that POPS.

I like it love Blues with a lot of flake in them. They really pop when they are polished up properly.

I have Imperial Blue Metallic on my 2010 2SS and love it very much! I've seen Blue Ray Metallic on the Camaros / Impalas and always thought of it as being way too "Grey" IMO Blue Velvet looks interesting, however, I would have to see it in person to get an idea of how much I would like it and whether or not I would purchase it. Given the fact that Blue Ray has only been out for appox 2 years, one must think it was not a great colour if GM is replacing it already. |

I wouldn't say that, GM is at war with blue. They've had many a gorgeous blue that they've killed for lord knows what reason. I think Fbodfather said something like, if there is less than 10% color penetration then the paint goes bad before they can use it all.

Maybe they are saving the lighter colors for the next Gen. Some people think light colors make a car look bigger, and with the downsizeing of the 6th Gen, the lighter color may not make the size change as noticeable.
