I truely believe the intensity of the led is important. Sidemarkers are designed to make you more visible from the blind spots and other situations. I have had the Showstopper lights for a long time now and get compliments all the time on them. I have seen the several other brands out there and Pete is in a class of his own with the quality of these lights.

I had AAC side markers and I didn't like the LEDs in the middle. I went with Pete (Showstoppers) side markers and they're awesome! Amber fronts and red rears, with the LEDs on the top edge of the markers - where they should be. I also used a resistor on each side marker to reduce the brightness down to about 40% of original. PERFECT with the resistors - cool during the day and factory look at night! No night pictures due to the LEDs still appearing brighter than they are on film.
Go with Showstoppers! |

well i told him before even purchasing i needed them quick so i choose unpainted figuring they could be made in a week or two. i didnt think cores were not onhand and wasnt told this when i purchased. i couldnt even get a an answer on a group buy price so i paid $175 plus core for non painted. now i hear $200 plus core with all options and same amount of wait time. figured painting was what the delay was on orders so got unpainted.
sure they look great but to relay on cores coming in to build purchases. ill take a refund |

Don't want to wait long for an order of showstoppers but don't want to have poor quality from AAC... both look good but have faults

Crusco Zl1 I've had my AAC side markers for 2 1/2 years without a problem. maybe those bad ones were isolated incidents because I've been nothing but happy with mine
