1LE Shift Knob Installed

So after 4 hours of work I finally got my shift knob installed LMAO (15 minutes actually). Easy to install it came with the adapter already installed from EPCO. If you have never done this its easy. Lift up lightly on the silver ring below your shift knob and turn counter clockwise and push the boot down. On the right side of the shifter there is torx screw remove that and the shift knob comes right off. So here is the end result.

How difficult was the install? Any additional items that need to be purchased in order to get it installed?

TIA!

I also installed their shifter. My issue - the boot does not lock in place like it does on the factory knob so it just sits there and pushes down with your hand around it. Any suggestions?
