I'll talk to my dealer tomorrow and request to get my car with normal keyblade. On a completely unrelated subject, and i apologise in advance but i'm very intrigued by this; can you cancel dealer add ons after signing? I signed on tuesday and i don't think i need extended warranty and interior protection and some more. |

In would think you can get out of the extras depending on the state you live if you haven't taken possession of the car yet. They always get you with the extra warranty .I think that's how they make money on new cars. When I got mine few months back there was $2k cash back and the dealer didn't want to give that to me. They thought I didn't know about it or something. Anyhow , if you fight them you can get out of anything.

If you sell this vehicle, you should advise the buyer that this safety recall was not performed on the vehicle and that the recall repair is still available. This notice should also be placed in the glove box so that a future owner of this vehicle will be aware of this safety recall. |

Dealer won't release my car, we're on the way over to get our money back. Moving on to our seconod choice, Jeep Cherokee Limited. Just as nice, just a different ride.

Wow! Quite a difference in choice there. Personally I wouldn't let one dealer change my mind on a car selection. Drove near 200 miles one way to get the one we wanted and it was well worth it. Not only got the exact trim level we were looking for but at the best price out the door. Good luck with your final decision.

We picked up our Jeep about an hour after cancelling the deal for the Camaro. I'll miss having the Camaro, but it's the wife's car and she said she was getting a "bad" feeling over the whole recall thing. I'd have felt way worse about it if we were getting a V8
! In reality I think the Cherokee is a better vehicle for her anyway. BTW, we put down a deposit late on Saturday, June 13th fully expecting to pick up the car on Monday, June 16th. At first we were told it would only be a couple day delay and then it just kept going on and on. The dealer didn't put up any fight when we told them we wanted to cancel. I expected they would ask for a couple more days, but they didn't. I respect that, but they really never offered to get us concrete information about when we would take delivery. Maybe we'll get one later. |
