sad sad day

Yes, it is a sad day for me as she was struck with a golf ball from a drive that happened to fly over my house and into my driveway and onto my hood leaving a small but noticeable dent on the hood. I luckily got the shankopotamis' information, but still so sad :(

luckily the ball didn't take any paint with it, so hopefully it wont be much of a pain to get it out

Paintless dent removal should make it like it never happened. Just make sure you get someone that knows what they are doing. Long ago, our '95 Z28 was in a hail storm and we took it to one of the paintless outfits that swarm in when a storm comes. They made it look flawless from the outside, but instead of taking the time to do it right and remove panels to get their tools in, they drilled holes inside the door jams, etc.! They plugged them and the result was "ok", but later we learned that it can be done correctly without drilling holes like that.

Yours sounds like it should be easy to get to and it will be like it never happened. Still a bummer but it should work out fine in the end.

golfer's wife just called and said they are not going to do anything about it. Tried giving me some excuses about them not having the money to cover it, so i ask how they can afford to go golfing, which most people know is an expensive sport, and not have the money to fix my car?

Take them to small claims court. It's very simple to do. Document everything with pics and write down the conversation you had with her. File a claim, you'll get a court date. Then present your side of the story and more than likely they will have to pay.
