Can't you just call the police and get a report? You got him on video doing it. Make him pay for the damages and he will be more careful next time.

Actually, a more reasonable solution would be to take down his plate number and call your insurance guy.

The cops aint gonna do anything about a door ding. And talking to him "like a man" may result in unexpected consequences.

Get some door shox and use them if you are going to have to park close to people. I park way out, but have a set of door shox in the trunk in case I ever have to park amongst cars!

Just google Door Shox...or I bought mine on Amazon.

I think most insurance companies will want a police report and your right, if this guy gets stupid and then the police show up you know he is going to say you started it because he "accidentally" bumped your door.

Sucks man. Karma will catch up with him. When I was trying out the Recaro seats at a nearby dealer I dinged the car next to me. It was the first time I ever got out of a Camaro and was not used to the big doors and they were packed in pretty tight. Of course the salesman could careless. The same guy who didn;t return my emails and lost a sale.

Anyways, I found the car I wanted and drove out of state and of course... it had a ding right where I put on the other camaro. At least I was able to get an I owe you from the dealer. But my brother said, because like yours, it is on the crease, it will be a tough one and they could make it worse. Some times in life you just have to say f it and try not to hurt anyone lol
