sorry to hear, like others have said, things can be replaced, lives can't. Be glad that you were not injured. Keep us posted!

Sorry for your unfortunate loss and dream so short lived. The main thing is though that you were able to walk away from all this.

Keep your head up bro, the amount of people that ride around with their stupid hat on is amazing. Be thankful that you are able to walk away and buy another Camaro. Take the pictures of the before crash and after, then print them into 8x 10 and hold on to em because you can show your grandkids of one car you had that was your dream car and what happened to it. That will bring back great memories and by then it won't be a big deal.

It appears that the force of the airbag is what damaged the windshield.

Does not look totaled to me op. See what the ins company says, I'm doubtful they will total it out depending on year and mileage. Again as stated a million times, sorry for your loss dude but this paves your way to something better buddy. Maybe an ss?

Looking at the pics again, im guessing the damages to be just shy of 8500. They will more than likely fix it bro

The current market value of the vehicle before the damage regardless of what is still owed on the loan. If you owe $20,000 but the vehicle is only worth $18,000 you will have to cover the remaining $2,000 out of pocket to pay off the loan. If you have GAP insurance it will pay that remaining $2,000 for you. Don't get GAP insurance unless you are going to be underwater on your loan and get it from your insurance company or where you got your loan and not from the dealership as they will often screw you.

OP sorry for what happened, but glad you are ok.
