funny.....I think I can BUFF that out!! These engines typically require fuel with higher octane ratings, because lower octane fuel is more likely to prematurely ignite itself when put under such pressure. This premature ignition, called engine knock, reduces engine efficiency and can damage the pistons. Always follow your owner's manual's recommendation for fuel type.

I've had occasion to put low grade in the car and I never really noticed much of a difference. But I'm not running through the gears up to redline so maybe that is why I didn't notice much change. The couple times I had to run the low grade I did the fuse pull at the next fill up and still didn't notice any change.

Dealers use regular is SS's all the time, they wouldn't do it if it had even a 1% chance to make them liable for something.

yes, by all means, marry someone based on them putting 93 gas in your car. part of the reason so many marriages fail is preciously because people marry based on frivolous tings while ignoring the important stuff like morals, values, religion, children and gas grades.

I would certainly consider what OP's date did as a demonstration of "values" (i.e. paying attention and taking good care of somebody else's things) and a positive indication. At the apparent stage in that relationship, having all those other things out in the open and any differences resolved is just wishful thinking from outside that relationship.
