Ummmm maybe you've become a grumpy old man? Besides, you drove your car a whopping 176 miles in 2 months. How the hell would you know how good it is?

After a little over a month and 1600+ miles (and I'm 5miles from work!) I'm going to rate mine a 9. It's not perfect but it's close.

For those who are just too dissapointed to thank GM...I'll take your Camaro...seriously. I promise to love it and care for it and give it a safe place to sleep at night and...yeah. Preferably looking for a 2LT RS. If anyone has a RJT that they aren't impressed with...I'll take it and be impressed with it!! But I ain't racist, I'll take any color, seriously.

As I write this now, my family is about to talk to me about the new Civic they are going to get me to commute to college in. I'm very greatful for being given a new car and only having to pay gas and insurrance...but I gotta admit I REALLY wish I was lucky enough to get a Camaro. So to anyone who has a 2LT RS that they don't like...IGNORE the OP and continue hating your blessing-I MEAN CAR. And then give it to me, I'll totally take it off your hands happily. 20K I can offer...anyone??

Oh, believe me, I have tried. But 30 MPG of a Camaro doesn't compete with 36 of a Civic to them. Since I'm paying for gas, I don't see the issue though. I think the main thing is that it's considered a sports/muscle car. They are afraid of me being one of those kids that would race it all the time and crash it. But I wouldn't!! That's another reason I want a V6, I don't need a V8. I would be so dang careful with this thing it's not even funny. I would love to have one so much. Would NEVER risk denting it to just show off. But the Camaro Gods are not aware of my pain. Lame. Only way I could get one is to win it, which hasn't happened yet, get a used one for less than a Civic, which is also a rare/impossible thing, or to just wait 2 years and buy it. By which time the "ooohs" and "aahhs" of a new Camaro may be gone, but I will still be happy. Would be sweeter to, to buy my own. Gotta try to look at the few upsides I guess.

So once again, to those who have a 2LT RS and hate it...ignore the OP and keep hating it. Hate it so much that you will do anything to get rid of it. Then call me.

No worries. For the first 4 years of college, I drove around in a 1992 Toyota Previa, which has worse gas mileage than the Camaro V6 and is recently having some trouble with the brakes. But who can blame it, it's nearly 18 years old and has nearly 150000 miles with little maintenance.

But as an early graduation present, my dad decided to get me a 1LT V6 Camaro for my fifth year (for internships and such). Luckily, it hit a chord with him since he used to own a Trans Am. The mileage sold him, and the look of the car was the final nail in the coffin. I also think he thinks it helps to have a confident reliable car for all those internships and job interviews I have to go to...or parties lol. The alternative was a Honda Pilot, so I'm glad I got out of that one .

Anyway, yes, I will appreciate my Camaro when it arrives, even if it has a few flaws with it. The emotional response I get just thinking about it is enough for me to appreciate and take care of my soon-to-be car .

The fuel economy numbers for the V6 Camaro and the Honda Civic si are almost identical and the Civic si requires premium gas.
