I think it would be an easier install with that kit....no holes to cut...just a straight cut. IMO

Y Pipe can be an other option. Personally i have taken the QTP low profile (oval), because i don't wanna touch the ground of my parking (weird access) and speed bumpers.

after Cut, cold start (mono camera). In real ife, it's 5 time more loud ^^
