Nav/Radio spazzed out??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I tried to push my Home button and it told me I needed to cancel the current route. There was no current route. Then it locked up on the Nav screen. Couldn't switch screens and no buttons worked. Pulled a bunch of fuses and it works again. Anybody else have theirs lock up?

The MyLink system is a good system when it works but it is the most flaky system I've ever used. I have a laundry list of issues I've had crop up and go away.

On our 14 SS, the screen would do funny things or just go dead . .

Disconnected the battery and all seems fine after the reboot . . .

Does yours keep indexing your iPod everytine you start your car?
I swear to god it takes 30 minutes to index it every morning.

I had mine replaced under warrantee

My stealership won't touch radios, the call in a radio company.
And, they know nothing about firmware or updates.
It's replaced, and got some minor functions never seen before.

Works slightly better with iPod

Voice control is a joke in a noisey car

They scratched the console, had to go back again to replace that

I just turn the car off and it seems to be back to normal.

It doesn't even see all the music I have downloaded on my iPhone from Amazon.

That didn't work for me. Tried it three times before I started pulling fuses.

Mine will freeze up from time to time, but usually starts working again after a few minutes.

My MyLink froze up once and restarted itself. Luckily it's only happened once. The rest of the time it has worked flawlessly.

I had to replace mine once. It melted during a 6hr florida drive.

I've had issues with Bluetooth and USB as well, reseting the radio always cures it. I do have a very common problem of the USB or Bluetooth being connect but not reading or playing. Going into device settings and clicking on the device to resync always fixes it.
