Done a couple 2500 mile trips from Texas to Central Alberta and after that drove to the track and ran the fastest recorded ZL1 time on C5!

I've done a long road trip of 500 miles one way and a couple of 115 mile one way trips. It was great and very comfortable.

What's the longest trip in your ZL1?

I drove it back 400 miles from Vegas when I bought or for cash sight unseen.....

The two cars before that were a little more risky; 2009 CTS-V in NYC fly in and drive home sight unseen in 2010 and 2006 Z06 same deal in Huntsville AL in 2009.

In order to get to 1500 miles faster, I did two consecutive 425 mile trips going nowhere. Milwaukee to Door County (Wi upper peninsula) for lunch.

Two months after I picked mine up we drove to our first C5 Fest in Indy. 2500 + miles total with freshly painted front. Got back without any rock chips and immediately put on a clear bra.

I just got home after driving my car from Dallas to Phoenix. It was the first time I have driven my car in 5 months. It was a blast. Made 1100 miles in just over 12 hours. I didn't push it because the engine was being broken in. My neck got a little stiff but the thing really eats up the miles. Now I wait 4 more weeks to go get it back. I already miss it.

Less than two weeks after we bought the car, we drove from Alamogordo NM 1300+ miles back home to Indy to visit family, before driving the 1300+ mile trip back.
Back in May I drove from Alamogordo, NM to Deming, NM to Alpine, AZ via US 180 (stop for gas in Silver City, NM), to Lordsburg, NM via US 191,75, & 70, back to Alamogordo. 14 hours and nearly 650 miles in one day. Saw US 191 (in AZ) looked like a nice curvy road and had to take a day to go drive it!

That's a great road, have done it several times. Hayabusa three times, C6Z twice and CTS-V. Best going uphill.
