This is funny. The reason I say that is because the mustangs run smaller engines, yet have superchargers. The Gm's have larger engines, get over it. Stop your bitching, and stop calling foul on everything. For example, the 03-04 svt cobra (4.6) is rated at 390, some say its closer to 410. It is supercharged. The new camaro (6.2 I think???? ) is rated at like 420hp. The cobra will beat it every time if the drivers are equal. How can you complain? You still have more horsepower, yet you still lose. End of story, stop with the sad ass excuses.

I agree. The person saying the GT vs. SS is an unfair comparison should be the same person comparing the ZR1 to the GT500.

From what i can gather most of the blue oval boys are pissed because for cars in the same price range, GM simply outperforms the Fords period. If your going to take a step up in price range on the Ford side, you need to do the same on the GM side.

Sounds about right. Best car Ford makes is the GT500... and Chevy has multiple cars that would spank it.

Id say when you get to the 50k price range (GT500) your looking at a whole different class of car. You could save a little further and grab a CTS-V, lightly used Z06, or even go German and get a beast like a BMW M3.
