What size bolts to use on the side of a PC7424?
Hey guys,
Any idea what length and threading bolts I should use on each side of my PC to secure the plastic housing? Cheers!

It could potentially be 2 sizes depending on the date it was built (and what parent company was at the helm of the company) You can usually find the manufacturing date on the box it came in, it may also be on the tool itself, but I'm not sure.
If the date is 2010 or earlier a 5/16 18 bolt (1/2" long) should work. After 2010 you'll want an M8x1.25 (also about a half inch long) Can be shorter than 1/2" if you can't find that exact size, but can't be longer unless you want the bolt head sticking out. I recommend something with a hex head, and use a washer. Torque it down with a socket so it doesn't back out on you.
