Did you have to break the Chevy logo on the steering wheel?

Yeah. I took a scribe with a hook on it and pulled the end up until pulled the first tab out of the airbag cover. Then bent it back until it broke. I then used that hook to pull the remaining part back and took an exacto knife to slowly cut away the remaining tabs. It was very tedious and nerve wracking, LOL. I was worried I'd slip and cut the airbag cover.

I had asked in another thread a while back how a guy removed his. I never could get the procedure, just that I wouldn't be able to save the original one.

I was wondering how they did it.. you think if I bout little decals that go on the rim would fit there ? Looks good btw

Thanks.

I don't know. I've seen people put vinyl on exterior bowties, but I've never done it. I don't really see how it sticks to the rough surface of the bowties. Maybe some that have vinyled them will reply.

Roger at emblempros.com is the man, that's where I got all my emblems. Definitely will keep this thread in mind.

they stick on the rough exterior badges just fine too ive had mine on for a few months now
