Installed mine without the alluminum pieces. Just got longer bolts to replace the stock ones that come on the vent itself and drilled into drip tray and it's flush ad snug.

As for bolts. I used the stock bolts but I did not use the factory rain tray. "Eddiefuzz" popped out the stock bolts and bought toilet bolts from the hardware store if you want to use the stock rain tray and be able to remove it. . He said the head of those bolts fit nicely into the slots of the extractor. As long as you can get the bolt head into the stock bolt opening you should be good. I would use 1/4 inch if possible just my opinion. |

If anyone has a picture of the 2014 SS deflector on the radiator top I can verify if its the same or not.

You can swap hoods but the Cowl lines do not meet up perfectly to the front fascia from what I remember reading. User on C5 Nutro has added the 14 hood but he went to a ZL1 fascia also....

So it sounds like the complete package is the hood vent, the rain tray, and the radiator "deflector"?

PM MaureenM@rodgerschevrolet and ask her, she should be able to help you out.
Update: I just found this picture of a 2014 Camaro SS another member posted and from that I can tell the water deflector on the radiator is the same as the ZL1 one I put on my car. I bought mine from Maureen. Here is the part number and what GM Calls it P/N: 22828415 - Baffle
