Nice! I really like that look! Post more pix! Did you move the GM badge by the front one. Kinda looks like you didn't.

In body color they really take away from the car. It's a muscle car for heavens sake not an ltd.
We will have to agree to disagree on this topic, I do not think they bother the LINES of the car at all. The lines flow right into them. The car is not as "Clean" looking with them, I will admit that, but to me it is not bad looking. I plan on eventually getting an aftermarket body kit which will hopefully flare out and replace them, but for now it is fine. You may not like them, but it does not Mess Up the look, most people will not even notice them. Soooo Dramatic!

Thanks Scotty for the flaps and no I didn't have to move the GM Emblems. They are really simple to install the instructions are easy to follow tells you everything you need to know. The front I jacked up just so I could get the drill under the bottom of the car for the hole I needed to drill the back I didn't even bother with.

how difficult was the self-install? lots of drilling or not so much? i'd like to get these but don't really feel like spending an extra $100 for someone else to drill holes into my car if i don't need to.

honestly, seeing these things, i personally think it ADDS to the styling of the car. The bottom of the car seems a little bland at times (which is why they offer the body kit...), but personally i really dislike the current gfx package for this car. these on the otherhand i think add a nice element to the style. the functionality is sweet too. jmho

That's exactly how I feel... it makes the car look better to me! To me they look exactly as "horrible" and "tacked on" as the rear spoiler does. It's obvious that it's another part but it adds coolness and functionality and changes the shape of the body for the better!

I haven't put them on because I haven't yet received my car but the instructions for the flaps says each one requires one hole to be drilled and each uses two screws that are already in the car holding the wheel house liner in place. Everyone says it's super easy and I can't wait to to mine!

It really is easy to do the front has 2 drill holes, so make sure you have 3/32" drill bit and a 5/16" bit. The 2 screws that you took out will be reused to secure the splash guard and there is a screw and push pin that is supplied with the kit that will be installed that is it for the front. The back is even easier to do there is just 2 screws that you reuse and you dirll and add one screw on the bottom to hold the guard in place. you will need to jack the car up far enough to get the bottom screw hole drilled and if you are going to use a regular screw driver you will need to take the tires off to get to the screws oh by the way the screws on the car are T20 torx so make sure you have that and the screws that are supplied with the kit are just regular phillips #2 plus the drill to drill the holes and that is it. Read the instructions first to make sure you have all the steps down pat but believe me when I say if you pay a dealer to do this you just gave him easy money.

Just to add one more, received and installed mine yesterday. It took me a couple of hours, but I did not remove the tires. Had small issue with one push pin, needed to get behind panel and push it forward to engage push pin.

I ordered mine today from Scotty/Dave...after driving the first 100 miles I was alarmed to see how much crap spews up from the tires onto the car.

This upgrade is a no brainer, IMO.

I LOVE my mudflaps but my boss (the GM vice president of global product development) hates them.
