Does Dodge have anyone on staff who has drag raced late model RWD cars?
Lol.... you ever hear of the area under the curve on a dyno....your one of those peak horsepower means everything... also the 392 now has an 8 speed auto, not the aging Mercedes nag1.....also my 1.8 60' times produced 3.63 0-60....are you using some online calculator ? Lol

Mid 3's, 1.6x sixty, near lane.

The red truck and the blue vette also cut 1.6's in the 3.4-3.6 area. EFILive datalog. Works for me.

No it was on drag radials, however a friend of mine has pulled plenty of 1.8's when his 392 was stock with 255's.... Not disputing your time, however my point was a 1.6 60' time isn't an absolute to hit mid-high 3's. 0-60 times...

Didn't Ford claim that the newest GT5 would do over 200 mph?

They said 202, but it was a questionable claim, I wonder what hell kitty is claiming and do they have proof.

Great read. So many different perspectives, just awesome.

The Hellcat does make the ZL1 look stupid on 1 thing. It displays a ton of info stock, info that we have to hack n mod our cars to get. It also allows adjustment on lots of it. This (IMO) was a huge mistake by Chevy, the ZL1 & Z28 should have been given 'race' displays if they are race cars.

I also wanted to add a rumor I heard.. That Chevy unleashed Team Camaro, if it beats the Corvette thats the Corvette teams problem. Thats how we got the ZL1 and Z28. Ahh, the spirit of competition.

Nice perspective, you are right about the Info. I wonder if it could be added without much effort, I would think all the info is there they just need to display it.

And so my question would be did they lie to the Mustang enthusiast? Maybe

I hope they beat the corvette but knowing GM the odds are stacked against them. Gm does favor the corvette

If it is true, I would take that to mean GM said have at it, and may the best team win.
