Then again I'm in NY where business is brisk, prices might be jacked up. My v6 has most every option I can think of except for the interior trim package which may or may not be overkill.

I saw the RS's going for $27 - $29,000 though. They didn't have em on the floor though but hidden away upstairs. I just thought he could do better.
I think mine came out at 35,500 MSRP so you're not far off. I then applied the 2000 off, was able to fudge in another 'school' discount because I graduated from college in 2012, cutoff is two years. And I had it driven in from out of state to avoid $600 flat bed cost.

I agree that the OP's price may be a little high as it sits, but if the 2000 cash is still on the table, it would be close to 28,000. A little negotiation on other tack-on offers might even get into the mid 27s... It seems pretty close. Of course that's without TTL.

By the way, if that's your car in your avatar it looks great!
Looks like NY requires front plates as well... My two month temp tag expires tomorrow, so I've got to decide on what solution to use for the front plate. I may leave it off and see how bad enforcement is about it around here and decide later.

Hmmm definitely think i'm going to have to haggle with them a bit more see what i can do. Although its looking like it will be tax time now before i can seriously walk in to buy but thats ok, gives me more time for a down payment and if they unveil the 6th gen by then i can decide if i want to wait or go for it. Thanks for the info though guys! This place rocks.

Yeah you make a good point about the 2k off the top, and whatever other discount, would bring it back to a reasonable number.

Thanks man, it's my pride and joy As I'm sure yours is as well, I wish I had that hood but my car isn't fast enough to earn it I guess lol

Why are prices so high for you guys? My dealers advertised price on a 2lt RS with sunroof automatic is 27,800. I'm going to go in there next week and offer them 27000 until one of the dealers accepts it or I'll just wait til 2015s arrive.

You're saying $27,000 loaded? or before options? For those prices I could definitely have reached up to the SS. Instead I got the LT and loaded it to the gills in options. Now I know I paid more than the west coast pays. Which is almost hard to believe. My standard price here was $29,055, after options $35,125 - $2,000 = $33,125. It dropped another 1,000 in bargaining with some goodies thrown in and a Truecar.com price protection slip. $32,000 is about what I paid. If you're saying you can get the same for $5,000 less, there should be a sticky on it, lol

RS Package $1,650
Auto trans $1,185
Sunroof $900
Navi $795 (got em free)
Crystal Red $395
Spare $150
Destination charge?$995
Lock nuts $150 (got em free)
----
$5,275

Wow, next time I'll have to look around the country when I re-up. That's a great price even though it's missing a few things. Good luck grabbing it for 27,000. I think you have a decent shot, but they hate moving the number, they'd rather throw stuff in to sweeten the deal.

yes it does, i paid 28k and traded in a 2009 nissan altima with 110,000 miles, i got 9500 for it in trade in value, they tried to low ball me 7k and i walked. Plus i didn't use them for financing so i got a better deal with my own credit union and got all customer cash and incentives, original price was 33k

I'm paying 24250 on wens for a red 1lt RS with rear vision and cyber gray rally stripes

Using conquest 1500$ and 2000$ rebate my private offer wouldn't stack unfortunately.

Went to the dealership today to look at a Red Hot 2014 1LT/RS Auto/Nav/BostonAcou/Polished 20s.

My pricing went like this:
31800 (wish) list price
-4250 trade in (2005 Dodge Magnum R/T 110k miles)
-2000 consumer cash
-1400 educator discount
-1500 conquest
-500 GM ticket thingies (2x250)

His out the door price was $21,800.

I got it for $20,800.
