Well I hope everyone who is going to the poker run at Coffee and cars has a great time ..Id love to be there and was looking forward to it ....Sadly we had a death in the family and I wont be able to make it.My Aunt Mary suffered a fatal stroke and heart attack. We'll see all of you soon......Bobby

Bobby I'm so sorry for your loss.

I got my exhaust on. I almost didn't want to when I heard my car with the exhaust off though. I'm very happy with it. it gets pretty loud if I put the pedal to the medal.

The race that "almost" happened. A show down between Cooley in the 1LE and Mark in the ZL1. Alas, due to a technicality, we'll have to wait a little longer. LOL!

Aston would like to thank Barbara for giving him the keys to the awesome C7. Unfortunately, Aston is not a Germantown Police Officer (long story...ask Cooley and Bar sometime), so he didn't actually get to drive the C7. LOL! He seemed to be having a good time nonetheless.

Sarah...show these pics to your dad. We were talking about Amy Faulk at the Poker Run today. I told him I thought she was still racing or only retired recently as she was honored at the Memphis Rodders Reunion in November 2012. My grandfather is a member of that group (Memphis Rodders) as well as he was a fairly prominent race car driver in the late 50's and 60's. He raced oval track mostly but did some drag racing as well. Anyway, I thought your dad might like to see one of Amy's more updated drag cars.

I never intended to race my car. This may be a new addiction for me. I had never been down a track before. I had a blast today.......

And thanks to Barb! For finally trusting me with taking her corvette for a spin............

Thanks Kris! I showed my dad, really cool she was honored and that's a nice car, I like the color of course!

Well Sarah, after you and pops left. Barb let me take it for a little spin in the lot. It is a sweet machine. Her clutch is friggin sweet! Mine felt funny after getting back in my car from driving hers. Had to get use to a stiffer pedal again. lol Her car takes off very smooth, never felt jerky at all. But mine is made for dumping.

p.s. I would love to somehow get the video you took. or maybe you can post it somehow.
