I Hope The Boston Acoustic Sound System is Good, Never Use It

I have had "Christine" now since early June and I have used the cool sound system..... 3X. Once to listen to the traffic report when the highway I use was stupid backed up and 2X on sports radio as New England Patriots training camp is starting.

I MUCH prefer to listen to the dual mode exhaust and listen to the engine on this darling of a car. I actually love music, but the symphony of the V-8 is all I want when I get in the car.

So, is the sound system good?

I went from a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT (with the Infinity setup) to my 2013 1SS/1LE with the BA setup, and the BA is complete shit compared to the Genesis. If your into good sound you'll want to upgrade to some 6.5" Components up front and some 6.5" Components out back with adapters to fit in the 6x9 slot. I also added a JL Audio 10W3V3 and a Rockford Prime R500.1 to mine and it sounds awesome now.

You have no idea how big a Star Wars expanded Universe fan I am, and all the old time Sith lore.

The point of my post was that I don't listen to music at all in the car and I don't want to.

Thats good because it's not worth the money, they should be ashamed of calling it upgrade sound system. I replaced everything with focal components and jl amp/sub

The 2016 model needs a premium Bose system.

I knew where you were going with this! Awesome post! I as we'll have no clue of the BA system due to that V8 rumble. Gotta love it!

i have a 13 2LT vert. so mine has the subwoofer with the BA system. the whole stereo is marginal at best, and works for me as i have the bass turned up 100%. however, it is no where the system that my 98 Firebird has with the monsoon system and 10 speakers. it is now 16 yrs old and still sounds really good.

I don't even know what a woofer is, I am 38 years old. I listen to music at home with a silly sound system. I just don't even want to turn on any sound when I can listen to the car. That's my opera.

It's not the best, but it's much better than stock Ford systems which sound like crap even with an aftermarket head unit. It all depends on your point of reference. For instance, my speakers in my home system are 9k which make the Camaro Boston Acoustic real bad, lol. But still, compared to my Ford, much better.
