I got it pretty tight now, if it loosens up again I will do that. I don't drive the car much but I'll check it again after I come back from camaro nationals .

Sent from somewhere on the road.

Sounds like a good plan.

Mine's still catching strong. About a third of a cup after ~900 miles of highway driving and ~600 miles of in town toddling about.

Just finished installation with braided stainless steel hoses and they would not go over the nubs on the ports.
The posted installation instructions could use some updating also - like the part where the bracket attaches to the catch can. Mine had 4 screws rather than the two in the instructions and two of the four screws were a bit longer than the other two and would only mount all the way on the bottom two holes (would be nice to know this ahead of installation).

It would also help to have a photo of the hose routing for the braided hoses on the LSA engine - I am not sure I got them in the right place (see photos). I put one over and one under the wiring harness - is that right?

They definitely need to be updated and that is in the works. How you route the hoses does not really matter. What is critical is that they end up where in the right places.

Glad my 1st post was on the can
Go to pages 9 and 10 of our installation instructions and there are photos of where it connects to the engine.

OK - Thanks! I see you have already made some updates in the installation instructions.

To install this thread should help: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=357577

PolydoraWhite: you don't need thread tape on your AN fittings. They have a conical seat.

Your Welcome.. Got it installed. My only question is, If you knew that there was a screw issue.(some being too long as brought to your attention in earlier posts) why didn't this get corrected prior to shipping?? Im happy with the kit you supplied.. But for what we pay it shouldn't come with any issues. I cut the two screws down to fit the can.

Now the wait is on for it to catch some oil.

It has. We now include two longer and two shorter screws for the bracket. The longer for the upper holes and the shorter for the lower. It could be easy to over look though.

I tried the longer ones in the upper and they bottomed out before the bracket was tight. I then proceeded to try the short ones in the bottom. they too bottomed out. Not sure what the issue is?? SO, I used the shorter ones in the top and cut the longer ones for the bottom. Now the bracket is nice and tight to the can.

All that matters at the end of the day is.. That its installed and works.

Not sure what that was about but I apologize for the extra step. Glad you are happy with the catch can.
